AOL Internships offer college students work experience in their study field within a wide range of disciplines. Positions vary and are offered at different locations throughout the U.S. and international.

Examples of internships include account management, visual design, editorial, sales and customer support, just to name a few. A customer support intern might work on AOL's MapQuest team, helping to improve processes, ensure accuracy of data, and solve problems. Depending on the position chosen, students will need specific skills such as knowledge of social media, technology and computer skills.


The internships are generally paid and last from Fall through Spring. Students work an average of 10-12 hours per week. Students will learn skills valuable to their career and gain hands-on experience in their chosen field. In addition, they will have an opportunity to work in an exciting location such as New York, Denver or even the U.K.
